Adidas has launched environmentally-friendly commemorative running shoes

On the 5th anniversary of their cooperation, the German sportswear giant, Adidas, and the marine environmental organization, Parley for the Oceans, jointly launched an environmentally-friendly series of Ultra Boost DNA Parley commemorative running shoes, with a national limited edition of 800 pairs.

Diesel has launched digital showrooms to reduce the number of clothing samples

The Italian high-end denim brand, Diesel, has announced the launch of an immersive digital sales and display platform, HYPEROOM, which focuses on three basic advantages - digital acceleration, active guidance, and sustainability. Besides providing communication and business solutions for OTB, HYPEROOM also has sustainable environmental advantages. Diesel will greatly reduce the number of clothing samples displayed in offline showrooms using this new digital sales platform.

It is reported that all brands under the OTB Group, including Amiri, Maison Margiela, Marni and so on, will also use HYPEROOM.

Arket Sustainable Archive's second theme: "Fabric"

Arket, a lifestyle brand under the H&M Group, has created a "sustainable archive" as part of its efforts to promote the accumulation of sustainable fashion. The theme of this issue is fabrics, as the brand tells how making clothes more durable starts with the fabric.

For the ninth consecutive year, Kiehl’s has cooperated with the SHANSHUI Conservation Center

Kiehl's, the high-end skin care brand, has collaborated with the SHANSHUI Conservation Center for the ninth consecutive year to use part of the sales profit of its legendary white clay facial mask for the conservation of wild giant panda habitats. Kiehl’s invited brand spokesperson, Liu Haoran, to voice the film and comic artist, Tan Jiu, to tell the stories of forest patrolmen and wild pandas in the form of public welfare comics, and integrate these stories into the packaging design of Kiehl’s limited edition white clay mask.

Kering has set up a testing laboratory to ensure the quality and sustainability of its products

The French luxury goods company, Kering, will open a Test & Innovation Laboratory (hereinafter referred to as the TIL) in Tuscany, Italy with the main function of conducting chemical and other tests on the group's branded products and raw materials to ensure their quality and sustainability.

The products and raw materials for experimental testing at the TIL will include Kering's fashion, leather goods, shoes, watch, jewelry and eyewear categories, but it will also be open to other local and overseas companies. It is reported that the TIL will be located in Prato Town, which is the gathering place of many luxury brand fabric suppliers, and it is expected to start operating in the first half of 2021.

Jewelria and SEE FOUNDATION have joined hands

Jewelria, a multi-brand jewelry collection store under Chow Tai Fook, and the SEE FOUNDATION have jointly invited designers and celebrities in different fields to support the "One Hundred Million Suosuo" public welfare project, which emphasizes desert ecological protection.

From now until March 31, 2021, Jewelria will successively launch multi-phase cooperation charity products. Little MO&Co. has launched a special series to protect the earth and an art summer camp

Little MO&Co., a children's wear brand of the EPO Fashion Group, will launch a special series to protect the earth in the fall of 2020, focusing on natural skin-friendly materials, such as organic cotton and merino wool, and safe dyes that reduce the chemical treatment. It has also launched a "GO GREEN" project that involves recycling old cartons into endangered wild animal shapes to make recyclable toys and issued a declaration of equality between animals and humans on their behalf.

At the same time, the 2020 MOart Art Summer Camp was launched, with the theme of "Love Mother Earth", turning serious environmental issues into fun art courses. The 2020 European Social Innovation Competition has announced the semi-finalists

“Reimagine Fashion - changing behavior to sustainable fashion” is the theme of the 2020 European Social Innovation Competition, which aims to find new ideas that can change the way clothing is produced, purchased, used and recycled. 30 projects from 14 countries were selected from the 766 applicants. Semi-finalists will receive online support to further develop their ideas from experienced social innovators. This will include multi-day training activities and one-on-one guidance with local coaches. The judges will select 10 finalists and 3 winners in September.
